Cookie Purse Crochet Pattern
If you’re looking for a super cute accessory for your Lofty Fable friends, this little cookie purse is the perfect crochet pattern! This snack-sized satchel is made using the Free Crochet Cookie Pattern from a previous post, with just a few simple tweaks!
Check out how sweet it looks on the LOFTY Brie Mouse Crochet pattern – this little mouse is shown au-natural, with her little Pixie Hat.
The LOFTY Brie Mouse pattern includes a ballet outfit with removable tutu, but you can make her with or without the color changes.

NOTES:
- You’ll need to refer back to the original Crochet Cookie Pattern post to complete this modification – you can find it HERE.
- The original Crochet Cookie Pattern is made using a variety of blanket/chenille yarns. This pattern is shown using Lion Brand Hue + Me in the color Desert for the main part of the cookie. This is actually a chunky wool blend and is considered a size 5 Bulky yarn. You can use a different type of yarn for this pattern, but the finished size will be slightly different.
SUPPLIES:
- Size 5 Bully weight yarn for main cookie color
- Size 4 Worsted weight yarn for the chocolate chips
- 7mm crochet hook
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
DIRECTIONS:
1: Start by making 1st cookie as written in the original Crochet Cookie Pattern post. Fasten off, following Invisible Finish instructions.
2: Complete instructions for 2nd cookie but DO NOT fasten off or complete invisible finish steps. Add chocolate chips to both cookies.
3: Insert hook through the next stitch on the 2nd cookie (the one with working yarn). Then insert hook through any stitch on the 1st cookie. Work a slip stitch.
4: Continue working slip stitches through both cookie layers to join them, leaving the last 7 stitches unworked to create an opening.
5: Chain 30 for the strap.
6: Slip stitch into the 1st slip stitch at the corner of the purse opening. Cut yarn, and weave end into the purse, knotting securely.
Your little Crochet Cookie Purse is complete, and ready for holding all the tiny Fable treasures!
