Mouse in the House Printable Holiday Gift Tags

With the holidays around the corner, I wanted to share something special for your Christmas makes this season: FREE printable gift tags designed for your little Mouse in the House, or other handmade items!

The Mouse in the House Mod is a Christmas-themed modification for the Brie Mouse crochet pattern. Brie Mouse has been a favourite make for her cute removable tutu and ballet slippers. The pattern can be found HERE or in my Etsy shop HERE. If you’re unfamiliar with this pattern series – all accessories and colour changes are interchangeable between the animals in the Fable Collection patterns found in my shop HERE!

When designing Brie Mouse, I just knew she would be a special holiday make. She’s the perfect size for little hands and just asks to be snuggled and played with. I was so excited to come up with a little story about a mischievous Christmas mouse that would visit during the holidays, bringing some extra cheer. The adorable name Mouse in the House, or…Brie in the Tree? Was lovingly coined by my sister Laura – @this_burrow on Instagram.

Attaching your holiday gift tags

Each of these beautiful, oversized tags has a traditional holiday feel, adding a touch of magic to your Christmas gifting or market displays. Simply print, cut, and attach to your handmade makes – easy and adorable!

Once printed, cut and hole punched, you can use a crochet hook to pull a 16″ strand of ribbon through a stitch on the arm. I loved attaching my tag with chunky red ribbon for that classic look.

I tied a bow and cut pointed ends by folding the ribbon in half lengthwise, and snipping on an upward angle toward the fold. This little details adds a polished look to your finished piece!
