Jasper Reindeer Mod
This Jasper Mod is a color change modification for the face of my Jasper Reindeer Crochet pattern – available HERE, or in my Etsy shop. This pattern includes instructions for making a little worsted weight Jasper, and the chunkier blanket yarn version as well.
This color change modification is courtesy of one of my talented pattern testers, Sarah from Oak Hill Stitches. Check out Sarah’s work HERE on Instagram and her Etsy shop HERE. The pattern currently offers two options for the face, but when I saw Sarah’s gorgeous photos of her Jasper Reindeer, I knew everyone would want to know how she worked her magic!
(Pattern includes left and center options.)
Isn’t this mod just the cutest?
I’ll never forget the excitement I felt when I held Jasper in my hands for the first time. I initially made him in the worsted weight yarn and recently adapted the pattern to include the blanket yarn version as well. The larger Jasper is so soft and huggable and is super sweet, but a totally different feel than the original.
I had so much fun creating Jasper, and he’s just one of those makes that sparks so much excitement every time I complete one. I hope he brings you as much joy as he’s brought me! I truly hope that this extra option will give you the inspiration to create your own personalized piece for yourself, a loved one, or a special market make!
