Jeep Duck Printable Tags
Looking for FREE tags to add to your crochet Jeep Ducks? Whether you’re gifting them, or leaving them on an unsuspecting Jeep, these adorable tags add the perfect finishing touch to your handmade ducky makes!

I didn’t know about the Jeep Duck trend until I released my Maisy Duck crochet pattern. This rubber duck-inspired pattern is a modification of my original Mabel Chicken crochet pattern (find Mabel here). You can read all about Maisy and get the free mod on my blog (see the Maisy blog post here).

I received a number of messages from friends in the crochet community about these Jeep-loving ducks, and decided to find out more about them!
The Story Behind the Jeep Ducks
It all started with an Ontario woman who left a rubber duck on a Jeep as a simple act of kindness. That small gesture sparked a movement, and though this woman has since passed, her idea continues to spread joy through thousands of ducks around the world.
About the Jeep Duck Tags
The story inspired me to create a free printable tag you can use with your own crochet ducks. I love the idea of leaving these little duckies for others – just for the sake of spreading kindness. These tags are a perfect fit for the Desk Duck version of my Maisy pattern shown here – you can find out more about this mod on my blog (Desk Duck Mod).

These tags include different options (the duck love doesn’t need to be limited to Jeep lovers)! And if you’re looking for more FREE duck-gifting tags, this desk duck blog post has you covered!
You can download the free tags below. I hope they help you share a bit of joy, one duck at a time.

Attaching Your Tags
Once printed, cut and hole punched, you can use ribbon to tie around the neck of your crochet duck or use a crochet hook to pull a strand of ribbon through a stitch on the side of the body/neck.

I hope these little Jeep Duck tags help to spread a little ducky joy in your community!
Enjoy and happy making!
